A downloadable asset pack

Presenting my first mega-pack, just in time for the October game jams! We've got haunted churches, spooky stairwells, crumbling ruins, horrifying laboratories, and more!

While I normally crop my backgrounds down to 1920 x 1080 pixels for Ren'py games, I've decided to leave these in their original square format, so you can crop and resize as you please for whatever type of game you're making this spooky season.

This is a ZIP file containing thirty-five creepy backgrounds for use in your games or wherever else you might need a haunted hangout. Each individual image is 1024 x 1024 pixels.

Once purchased, you can use these backgrounds for anything you choose, commercial or personal, so long as you aren't just reselling the backgrounds by themselves or taking credit for their creation. Feel free to edit them however you like! While I would appreciate a credit or mention, it isn't required.

If you enjoy my products, please consider donating a little extra, as I'm struggling with a new disability and currently out of work. Even the smallest amount is appreciated!

Please note that these backgrounds were all created using AI programs. I did not paint or draw them, but I did spend a long time painstakingly manipulating them.

I do NOT take commissions at the moment, but please feel free to add your suggestions and constructive criticism in the comments!

Looks great! :)

I'm working on a fantasy small game project (the worldview is like The Lord of the Rings). Could you consider creating city views like demon castle, orc tribe/village, dwarf fortress? By the way, 1024 resolution might be a little low for game projects.

Sure, I'll see what I can do! And yeah, the resolution is a bit of a problem with some of the AI programs I use. But usually these hold up pretty well to a certain degree of resizing. I've been resizing most of them up to 1920 x 1080 for a Ren'py game I'm developing, and they still look good. I'll keep trying to find a better way of doing these.

Many thanks! Good to know the quality is still good after resizing :)

Thanks so much! Please let me know if you have anything you'd like to see in future projects!
